DENVER - Colorado Gives Day is a special time of year for Coloradans to reflect on what they love about where they live. Love local arts? Outdoor recreation? Preserved land? Education? Services for people in need? Whatever you care about, you will likely find local nonprofits playing a role.
Colorado Gives Day—taking place on Tuesday, Dec. 6—supports and celebrates the vital contributions of these organizations.
Last year, thousands of Coloradans demonstrated their support by donating $28.5 million to more than 1,800 nonprofits on Colorado Gives Day.
When you give on this day, the value of every donation receives a boost from the $1 Million Incentive Fund created by Community First Foundation and corporate partner FirstBank.
How to Give:
1. Schedule in Advance: Go to http://ColoradoGives.org, add your donations to the checkout cart and select the “CO Gives Day” button under Donation Type. Your transaction will process on Dec. 6.
2. Give on Colorado Gives Day: Go to http://ColoradoGives.org on Dec. 6. After adding donations to the checkout cart, select “Today” under donation type.
Colorado Gives Day is one the most successful events of its kind in the nation. We hope you’ll join in this fun and rewarding day of giving.
