Representatives from Mayor Hickenlooper’s Office of Drug Strategy and the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division of Colorado will be speaking to parents about trends in teen substance abuse, and how to talk about difficult issues with you children.
9/29/07 – North High School – Denver PTA Conference, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Parents are the Power will have a booth during the morning hours of the event to distribute information about the program to Parent Teacher Associations.
10/2/07 – Lochbuie Elementary, 4:00 – 7:00p.m.
Parents are the Power will have a booth at parent teacher conferences to distribute information about substance abuse and effectively speaking with your children.
10/2/07 – Hoff Elementary (Keenesburg), 4:00 – 7:00p.m.

Representatives from the Mayor’s Office of Drug Strategy, in conjunction with the Colorado Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division, will be presenting to parents during Family Weekend in Sturm Hall. The program is open to the public and no RSVP is required.
