It was hard to find a family-friendly Dave Chappelle reference to put here, so use your imagination.

"Surprise!" - Dave Chappelle, probably.

KUSA – Look, it’s already sold out. But that’s to be expected given that one of the funniest people in the world will perform at a relatively small venue (yes, Dave Chappelle’s hilarious – don’t @ me).

Dave Chappelle announced two surprise shows at the Summit Music Hall slated for Friday. The announcement happened late Thursday night, and as of 7:30 a.m., tickets were gone (they were $100, for what it’s worth).

The shows are slated for 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., in case you want to stand outside the venue and beg.

The Summit Music Hall has a 1,000 person capacity. Red Rocks, where Chappelle mostly recently performed in Colorado, fits 9,525 people.

If you were one of the many people who couldn’t snag tickets to the surprise shows, don’t expect to find footage on YouTube afterward.

Dave Chappelle has a pretty legit no cellphone policy – which is honestly is great if you hate starring at people’s screens instead of the comedian you just paid to see.
