KUSA — Are you ready for the weekend? Although it may be a tad chilly this weekend, don't let the weather stop you from experiencing spring in the Centennial State. There are music festivals and concerts, sports season debuts and playoff action plus lots of Earth Day celebrations. Check out one of these fun events across Colorado:

Grand Junction Renaissance Faire — Grand Junction

Travel back in time to when knights were noble, maids were merry and turkey legs were titanic. Enjoy springtime on the western slope at the 3rd annual Grand Junction Renaissance Faire. Explore the village marketplace for arts, crafts and, of course, great food and drinks. Jousting knights, comedy, music and circus shows will amuse visitors of all ages. The Renaissance Faire will he held on Saturday and Sunday at Watson Island. Tickets are available online at GJRenFaire.org.

Broncos Fit 7K and Salute to Fans Rally — Fort Collins

The Denver Broncos are traveling to Fort Collins for their first 7K race of 2018. The Broncos Fit initiative & Salute to Fans Rally will start at the Budweiser Brewery Experience and work its way around the grounds of the Anheuser-Busch brewery. The run/walk benefits the Boys & Girls Club of Larimer County. All fans are welcome to attend. Participants receive a Broncos 7K shirt, finisher's medal, personalized bib as well as complimentary water, food and Bud Light beer (for guests 21 and older). Glendale Raptors Season Opener vs. Austin Elite — Glendale

The Glendale Raptors open their 2018 season Saturday afternoon when they host the Austin Elite. The Raptors are a part of the inaugural season of Major League Rugby. MLR will launch with seven teams in Austin, Houston, New Orleans, San Diego, Seattle, Salt Lake City and Glendale. 9NEWS E-Cycle Event — Aurora

9NEWS, along with Techno Rescue, is hosting an E-Cycle event on Saturday, April 21st, from 7 a.m. to noon at Arapahoe Park Horse Track in Aurora. By recycling your electronics, you’re helping save energy, reduce pollution and conserve resources. While most items are free to recycle, there are some fees for particular items. UNC/Greeley Jazz Festival — Greeley

The largest event of its kind in the nation, this jazz festival brings together internationally recognized artists, jazz lovers, clinicians and over 250 college, high school and middle school big bands, combos and jazz vocal groups from across the United States. The festival features main stage concerts, after-hours sessions, daytime performances and education workshop sessions. The UNC/Greeley Jazz Festival runs from Thursday to Saturday. The Who's Tommy — Denver

Telling the story of a young boy who retreats from the world around him after a traumatic event, the musical Tommy is based on The Who's iconic 1969 rock concept album. When it's discovered that the boy has a talent for pinball, he's swept into a world of fame and success. The Who's Tommy features the well-known songs "Pinball Wizard," "Amazing Journey," "I'm Free," "See Me, Feel Me" and "Tommy, Can You Hear Me?" The Who's Tommy opens Friday and plays through May 27 at the Stage Theatre at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets are available online at DenverCenter.org.

Colorado Eagles Playoffs — Loveland

The Colorado Eagles have returned to the playoffs and are looking to bring back-to-back championships to Loveland. The Eagles are facing the Wichita Thunder in the first round of the 2018 ECHL Kelly Cup Playoffs and have a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven series. The Eagles can close out the series when they host Game 4 on Friday night at the Budweiser Events Center (Game 5 will be on Saturday night, if necessary). Tickets start at just $19 and are available online at ColoradoEagles.com, by phone at 970-686-7468 or at the Budweiser Events Center box office. This is the Eagles' last opportunity to win the ECHL's Kelly Cup. Next year the club will move up a level, becoming the Avalanche's sole AHL affiliate.

Centennial State Ballet Presents Sleeping Beauty — Niwot

The Centennial State Ballet will be performing the beloved classic Sleeping Beauty with a live orchestra at Niwot High School this weekend. The performances will be Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. For the youngest audience members, a special Ballet Petit performance will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. The Ballet Petit performance will be shorter and there will be a photo opportunity with the dancers after the performance. Temple Grandin Unfiltered — Fort Collins

Renowned Professor of Animal Science Temple Grandin will be speaking Sunday evening at the Lincoln Center Canyon West in Fort Collins. Grandin will talk about her life and work, including her experiences with autism and as a woman in agriculture. Grandin, who is also a designer of livestock handling facilities, will take questions from the audience in a personal interview atmosphere. All proceeds will benefit the CSU Animal Welfare Science Club. The event starts at 4:45 p.m. and will have a cash bar and books will be available for purchase and signing. Rocky Mountain Bridal Show — Denver

Colorado's ultimate wedding planning event arrives Sunday. The Rocky Mountain Bridal Show features information on photographers, florists, DJs and all you'll need for your wedding. There will be prize giveaways as well as a runway fashion show. When you attend, bring your fiancé, family members, wedding party and friends - they can provide assist with wedding decision-making. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Colorado Convention Center. Tickets are available online at RockyMtnBridalShow.com.

Mozart’s The Magic Flute — Englewood

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s opera The Magic Flute will be presented by The Arapahoe Philharmonic in collaboration with Avanti Music Academy in Highlands Ranch this weekend. The Magic Flute, or Die Zauberflöte, connects overture and arias through spoken text and is considered one of Mozart's most popular operas. There will be performances of the opera on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Fisher Auditorium on the Englewood High School campus. Tickets are available online at Arapahoe-Phil.org

Colorado Gypsy Jazz Festival — Denver & Estes Park

The Colorado Gypsy Jazz Festival comes to Denver on Saturday and Estes Park on Sunday. The 2018 festival features the trio Harmonious Wail, the Aaron Walker Quartet with Bjorn Thoroddsen and the Denver-based Le Pompe Jazz. Doors for Saturday's show open at 7 p.m. at Swallow Hill (71 E. Yale Ave.) in Denver. Sunday's performance begins at 3 p.m. at the Park Theatre in Estes Park. Garden of the Gods Earth Day Celebration — Colorado Springs

Garden of the Gods is hosting its 21st annual Earth Day Celebration this weekend. On Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. the park will have educational booths, Air Force Academy Falconer's with live falcons, a chemical magic show, American Indian dancers and lots of free activities for the entire family. There will be free shuttle running every 15 minutes from the parking area at Rock Ledge Ranch. If you're looking to volunteer, a park clean-up will begin at 8:30 a.m. Sunday morning will feature a "Motorless Morning" at the park for Earth Day. All of Garden of the Gods will be closed to motor vehicles from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. It will be a unique opportunity to connect with the sounds and feelings of nature.

5K In My Shoes — Evans

Sunday's 5th annual 5K In My Shoes is a walk, run or roll race that promotes awareness of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Teams, beginners and pros are all welcome on a well-marked fully-accessible course that begins at Envision (1050 37th St. Evans). The 5K begins at 8:30 a.m. and a 1K begins at 8:35 a.m. Registration is available online at Envisionco.org.
