KUSA — Rock bands The Cult, Stone Temple Pilots and Bush will headline the first annual Red Rocks Beer Festival.
The festival will be held on Sunday, August 19 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
The bands will perform on the main amphitheater stage while regional and national craft breweries and food trucks take over the venue's upper north parking lot.
The Red Rocks stop is part of the bands' Revolution 3 tour, which will stop in 20 cities.
“It is with great honor and pleasure to know we will be spending our summer vacation on the road with the Gents from The Cult and Bush,” said Dean DeLeo of Stone Temple Pilots, in a news release. “Two great bands and more so, great friends. Also, to be there with you is even better. With love. See y’all soon.”
“It’s going to be a great summer with STP and The Cult, two bands built on great rock songs,” says Bush vocalist Gavin Rossdale. “See you all out there.”
Tickets for the Red Rocks Beer Festival go on sale Friday, April 6 at 10 a.m. at LiveNation.com, AXS.com or by phone at 888-929-7849.
