Typically in Colorado, Republicans lead in early voting. Democrats close late.
This year, the first all mail-in year, Democrats were up early, and now Republicans have surged to take a 7,000-ballot lead.
Of course, inside those secret ballots some voters are likely crossing party lines. We just don't know it yet.
That's where we turn to Democratic Governor John Hickenlooper, a Hillary Clinton supporter, and Donald Trump's Colorado campaign director, Patrick Davis.
Both men gave us their best argument for a voter who dislikes both their candidates, and is sitting on a ballot, wondering whether to vote at all.
