Hey. May I make a recommendation? This is where we tell you to leave our website, and our Facebook page, and go check out someone else's excellent work.

We're staying in Boulder for this one. The Daily Camera has a really interesting article on trail runner Dave Mackey, who is having his left leg amputated below the knee today.

It was crushed by a 300-pound boulder when he fell on a run in May 2015. His leg was saved, but he's been dealing with issues and pain since then. So he has decided to amputate it.

Monday night, friends gathered to give his leg a send off.

Dave isn't slowing down. He expects to be more active without the pain, walking his kids to school, and running again. His mindset will help you recalibrate yours.
