Americans may still be divided on who they want to run the country, but beer will keep us together.
The Colorado Brewer's Guild and Craft Beer Colorado, two different organizations, said Wednesday that they will come together to form one group. Members decided in a vote that they are better together.
Fourteen breweries left the guild in June, saying members’ wishes were not reflected in management. Since, the guild’s executive director left, and voting rights were axed for Breckenridge Brewery, which was sold to Anheuser-Busch InBev.
The idea behind the merger is to fully represent independent brewers, says PorchDrinking.com.
The organization will go by the Colorado Brewer’s Guild name, and create a new board of directors.
One state, united under beer.
