The greatest movies make us laugh, make us cry, and make us think.

And so today, we turn to a classic: Sweet Home Alabama.

Reese Witherspoon stars as Melanie Carmichael, back from the big city, visiting her small hometown. Melanie stops by the the neighborhood bar, and there, we see one of the most iconic scenes in romantic comedy history. Not really, but it serves our purposes for this article, so go with it:

"Look at you! You have a baby. In a bar."

*Confused face*

We were reminded of this video because of an email to Next from Jon Moorehouse.

He writes,"Enjoyed Kyle's conversation starting story about dogs at brewery taprooms. Would love to see an in depth story about a much bigger and growing taproom issue. Young parents gathering at taprooms with their children thinking it is OK to hang out and drink while their toddlers and infants take over the establishments as playgrounds. There are many more talking points and much more serious concerns that revolve around this issue."

We caught up with him to get more of the story. Jon says sometimes, he and his wife avoid outdoor space at breweries, even though the prefer it, because parents with young children congregate there. Jon himself is a parent, and knows his opinion might make some people really mad, but he says kids affect other patrons at breweries.
