At this point, $20 tickets to anything good are hard to come by, so getting a deal on a classic musical is pretty awesome – and the producers of RENT have been doing it for more than 20 years.
The RENT 20th Anniversary Tour is stopping by the Denver Center of the Performing Arts from Nov. 14 to 21. If you’re willing to make the trek to the Buell Theatre box office, it’s possible to snag $20 tickets for the first two rows of seats.
Here’s how it works: two-and-half hours before each performance, people who go to the box office can get their names placed in a lottery drum. After 30 minutes, names will be drawn for the seats, with a limit of two per person.
If you’re putting your name in for the lottery, you have to have a valid ID.
Otherwise, you can get tickets for the show for $20.
