Denver Restaurant Week returns with tasty and affordable options

One of the city's biggest culinary celebrations is back for a 14th year. Bon Appetit!
Food at The Ranch at West 40.

The time to explore all the culinary excellence of the Mile High City is nearly here.

Denver Restaurant Week kicks off Friday with more than 250 restaurants from across the Denver metro area participating.

Foodies will get a multi-course dining experience, and the choice between three different price options- $25, $35 and $45.

If you’re not sure what to try, you can customize search options online by cuisine type, location and price.

The 10-day culinary extravaganza goes from February 23 through March 1.

9NEWS reporter Liz Kotalik got a preview of some of the tasty dishes Thursday morning.

She tried the $25 option at Steubens in Uptown. That included a cup of clam chowder, lobster rolls with fries and butterscotch pudding.

At Linger in the Highlands, she opted for the $35 option and got to try a three-course meal with delicious cuisine from around the world.

The $25 option at The Ranch at West 40 in Lakewood was another solid choice.
