With the official election day a week away, 1,067,685 Coloradans already have voted, Secretary of State Wayne Williams said Monday.
And that's just shy of a third of the 3,343,879 Colorado registered voters whose ballots were mailed to them last week.
According to data from Williams' office, Democrats continue to hold an edge over Republicans for returned ballots so far, but GOP voters appear to be narrowing the gap.
As of Tuesday, 399,341 Colorado Democrats have voted, 371,746 Republicans and 281,845 unaffiliated voters.
That's a 27,595-vote advantage for Democrats; the gap was 30,878 on Monday.
