Eleven development deals brought thousands of jobs to Aurora in 2017 making it a record-breaking year, the Aurora Economic Development Council reports.
The Aurora Economic Development Council, which is a public private partnership representing the City of Aurora and Adams and Arapahoe Counties, said the city added 2,500 primary jobs.
The jobs added quality and diverse employment opportunities for the region's workforce, said Wendy Mitchell, president and CEO of council.
"These have a significant ripple effect in secondary job creation as well."
