Centura Health has hired a CEO to lead its flagship Denver-area hospital as well as its Mountains and North Denver Operating Group.

Edward Sim will take over at St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood on Jan. 3 and also will oversee a six-hospital group for Colorado’s largest health system that stretches from Saint Anthony Summit Medical Center in Frisco to the St. Anthony North Health Campus in Westminster.

He replaces Jeff Brickman, who left in July after five years to become CEO of Central Maine Healthcare.

Sim has worked for the past 11 years with Baptist Health in Jacksonville, Florida, serving most recently as president of physician integration, overseeing a network of 380 doctors employed by the system and a clinically integrated network of another 900 physicians.
