A Colorado movie theater advertising company that's shifting its focus reported disappointing first-quarter results last week.

On Thursday, National CineMedia Inc. reported first-quarter revenues fell more than 5 percent and reported a net loss of $5 million, or a loss of 8 cents per share.

National CineMedia said it's making the move to become an integrated digital media company, but that's going to take some time and investors might not be willing to wait. Shares in the Centennial-based firm (Nasdaq: NCMI) fell more than 26 percent in Friday trading, dropping $3.06 to close at $8.66.
