Denver’s KRG Capital Partners said Monday it has completed its sale of Fort Dearborn Co., a Chicago-area seller of decorative labels used by a variety of industries, to private-equity firm Advent International.

KRG, a private equity buyout firm, said the sale closed last Wednesday.

Sales terms were not disclosed. However, Bloomberg reported in June when bidding was under way for Elk Grove, Illinois-based Fort Dearborn that it was expected to fetch around $800 million.

KRG, which had acquired 91-year-old Fort Dearborn in August 2010, had been trying to sell the company since last year.
