Nine days before the official "election day," 866,668 Coloradans have already voted, Secretary of State Wayne Williams said Monday.

That's just over a quarter of the 3.3 million ballots mailed to the state's registered voters two weeks ago.

And Democrats continue to lead Republicans in the state's early-voting tallies as they have since ballots were mailed out Oct. 17.

As of Monday, 331,153 Colorado Democrats have voted, 300,275 Republicans and 223,540 unaffiliated voters.

The figures include ballots returned by mail or at a drop-off location as well as votes cast in person at early-voting centers.
