Call it the new sign of the times -- there are hardly any foreclosure signs on lawns in metro Denver

There were 10.49 percent fewer foreclosure filings in the first quarter of 2017 than in the same period last year.

Attom Data Solutions, a national property database, today released its Q1 and March 2017 U.S. Foreclosure Market Report, which shows that in metro Denver that foreclosure filings – including default notices, scheduled auctions and bank repossessions – totaled 870 for the latest quarter, down 10.49 percent from the first quarter of 2016.

In Denver alone foreclosure filings were at 191, down 9.48 percent from the first quarter of last year.
