Denver Business Journal — Long a destination for the elite on Manhattan's Upper East Side, French bistro Le Bilboquet plans to open its doors in Cherry Creek North in early 2019.

The 6,700-square-foot restaurant will be nestled in the luxury mixed-use St Paul Collection, the $165 million, 165 unit project with 55,000 square feet of ground-floor retail. It will join high-end sushi restaurant Matsuhisa and Top Chef runner up-created Departure Restaurant + Lounge in the neighborhood, all brought to Denver by BMC Investments.

“Cherry Creek North has evolved into a true dining and entertainment destination and Le Bilboquet will bring the premier French restaurant to Denver and Cherry Creek North, something it has been missing,” said Matt Joblon, CEO of BMC, a Denver-based real estate investment company that's also locked in SoulCycle and Crate and Barrel sister-brand CB2 into the space.

Le Bilboquet — as famous for its tony clientele as its Cajun chicken — was once named "The Snobbiest Restaurant in New York" by the New York Post.
