April Lambatos’ passion for positivity nearly matches her passion for food.
Lambatos, a Bizwomen Headliner, is the co-owner and chief operating officer of Footers Catering in Denver. She’s also known as Footers’ Head Honcho of Happiness, a role she doesn't take lightly.
“We say that work doesn’t have to suck. That’s kind of our internal motto,” she said. “Being the Head Honcho of Happiness is making sure I’m protecting that safe space for our team and that we are all really happy with what we’re doing."
Lambatos, 35, also works with the chef on the menus for Footers’ events, which include nonprofit fundraisers, galas, weddings, and corporate and social programs. In addition, she oversees the company’s rental division and fleet of trucks. Lambatos and her husband, Anthony, bought Footers from Anthony’s father in 2010.
