People seem to be wanting more from their entertainment and dining options.

Take Punch Bowl Social, for example, which successfully blended together a bar and restaurant with entertainment options that included pool, arcades, bowling and more. Or Carboy Winery, which opened last month under a restaurant-means-winery business model. Or even TopGolf, a food and drink venue where "golfers" hit microchipped balls into an outfield.

That's one big reason why Bowlmor AMF, the New York-based operator of bowling alleys across the U.S., is bringing its own twist on the concept to metro Denver with the opening of Bowlero.
