Is Denver ready for more ostrich?
Ostrich burgers, ostrich steaks and just about anything else one can make with the 10-foot-tall birds will be hitting the market soon courtesy of New Mexico-based Tall Foods, according to co-founder Andrea Romero.
When that time comes, she hopes customers will have the same experience with this red meat as she and her partner Adam Wachtor did.
"I think first and foremost, the taste is the biggest draw. Ostrich steak is the best steak I've ever had and that's how we actually got into this business to begin with," Romero said.
