WhiteWave Foods Company said its $10.4 billion acquistion by French food giant Danone should be completed within five days.

The Denver food company (NYSE: WWAV) said Thursday that a U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia has signed an order allowing the acquisition.

"WhiteWave expects the closing of Danone’s acquisition of WhiteWave to occur within five business days from the date of the Court’s order on April 5," WhiteWave officials said in a statement.

Danone, seller of Dannon yogurt and Evian water, announced it was buying WhiteWave in July. Including debt and other liabilities, the deal is valued at $12.5 billion.
