Anyone who has Denver Water could see their bills go up next year.
Denver Water provided notice to Littleton that rate increases are proposed for 2017.
It would not give exact numbers, but said the rate hike was intended to increase Denver Water's revenue by 3 percent.
Actual increases will be based on customer class and individual usage patterns.
The rates will be presented to the Denver Water Board on Wednesday and are expected to be voted upon at its Dec. 14 meeting.
The new rates will be effective on or after April 1, 2017.
The Denver Water Board meets at 1600 West 12th Avenue and meetings begin at 9 a.m.
