Every year it gets more expensive to withdrawal your money from an ATM.
And in Denver, should you find yourself withdrawing your money from an ATM not in your network, you'll be paying the fifth-highest ATM fees in the country.
For the 10th year ATM fees have gone up, setting a new record high — an average of $4.57 — to pull money from an out-of-network ATM, according to Bankrate.com’s (NYSE:RATE) 19th annual checking survey.
Denver comes in at No. 5 for the highest fees, at $4.88. Only Phoenix, Atlanta, Cleveland and Miami have higher fees. Pricing can vary from market to market based on competitive pressures, said Greg McBride, Bankrate.com chief financial officer.
