MORRISON, Colo. — HGTV's annual Dream Home contest is now open for entries, and the grand prize is located in Denver's backyard.

Every year since 1997, the Home & Garden Television network's sweepstakes has featured a newly built, fully furnished home along with other prizes.

The 2023 prize package valued at over $2.7 million includes a three-bedroom, three-bathroom house in Morrison along with a Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe and $100,000 from Ally Financial.

The 4,360-square-foot home features a modern kitchen, an open floor plan and plenty of windows to soak in views of its Rocky Mountain scenery.

The home's main bedroom has a walk-in closet, an en-suite bathroom and deck access. The two other guest suites are "each designed in a unique color palette with designated seating areas," according to a news release.

Other unique parts of the home are a mud room that doubles as a "pet space" with a dog-washing station, and a reading nook that is hidden behind a bookcase.
