The small, four-square-mile town of Superior, about 22 miles northwest of Denver chock full of open spaces, parks and close to plenty of family-friendly amenities is the best community outside the city of Denver.

That's according to education ranking website Niche's recent " Best Places to Live" report, which ranked neighborhoods based on their appeal.

"My neighborhood is a dream come true! It is a great environment for families," said a Superior resident on the Niche website. "The neighborhood is one big community. We have many events to bring the neighborhood together such as movie nights in the park, chili festival, parades and more."

Superior scored 30th nationally.
