With Denver poised to be one of the 10 metro areas most likely to see an explosion in population growth in the coming years, finding a place to rent is likely to become even more of a chore.
And as rents continue to rise, albeit at a slower pace, getting an idea of how far rent dollars can go is more important now than ever.
For between $2,100 and $2,800, renters can everything from a 5,500-square-foot, 6-bedroom house in Castle Rock to a 1,060-square-foot, two-bedroom apartment in Denver. They might be able to have pets (or not), might get hardwood floors, or maybe even a three-car garage.
As with everything in real estate, it really just depends on the location.
