Nearly 75,000 hair dryers are being recalled because of a fire hazard.

ISO Beauty is recalling their Ionic Pro 2000 and 2000W hair dryers (sold under the ISO Beauty and Proliss brand names) because the cords can become brittle near the base of the dryer.

The company has received 35 reports of the dryers sparking or smoking, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. There have been two reports of flames coming from the dryers and three reports of burn injuries to hands and fingers.

The dryers were sold at Groupon.com, Target.com, ISObeauty.com, Proliss.com and Amazon.com from March 2013 through January 2018. They were sold in black, white, white pearl, peacock, white zebra, pink leopard, blue, and giraffe colors.

The bottom rear of the dryer has “ISO” or “Proliss” printed and model number HD-1820.
