Laugh Yourself Blue: A night of laughs to raise money for Firefly Autism

Laugh Yourself Blue on Thursday, April 12 is a night of stand-up comedy.

Laugh Yourself Blue is a night of laughs to raise money for Firefly Autism. As Colorado’s leading treatment center using applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy, Firefly Autism has played major role in spreading community awareness and bringing autism into mainstream conversations.

Laugh Yourself Blue on Thursday, April 12 is a night of stand-up comedy. This year, the line-up includes Karen Mills, a hilarious southern belle along with Michael McCreary, who many say will be among the top stand-up talents within the next 5 years. McCreary has Asperger’s Syndrome, which he uses to help educate his audience about autism. He says it’s important for people to realize that an individual with autism has a sense of humor, and can laugh just like everyone else. His slogan is, “Do these pants make my Asperger’s look big?”

Tickets are available for this night of stand-up comics, dinner and a celebration of Firefly Autism’s achievements. Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. at the Seawell Grand Ballroom at the DCPA.
