The 13-year-old boy wanted in connection to a triple-shooting that occurred near a high school on Thanksgiving Day was taken into custody without incident in northeast Denver on Sunday afternoon.

The teen boy, who 9NEWS is no longer naming because he is in custody and has not been charged as an adult, was considered armed and dangerous.

The victims of the shooting were in a parked car on the 1700 block of East 28th Street near Manual High School when an unknown number of suspects opened fire on the vehicle. The teen is believed to be one of the suspects, according to Denver Police.

A woman and two juveniles were in the car at the time of the shooting, authorities say. The woman was shot in the leg, a juvenile in the arm and the other shot multiple times.

All three were taken to the hospital.
