The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a second suspect believed to be involved in a bar fight that endangered the life of a 4-year-old old girl in late January.
Devon Premer, 22, was arrested on Tuesday – the day after authorities released graphic surveillance video of the fight.
Premer is one of three men believed to be involved in the fight that broke out Crossroads Pizza & Wings Bar on the night of January 25.
Another suspect, Joel Wilson, was taken into custody at an earlier time.
Investigators say Richard Brown, 39, was holding his young daughter when the fight began, and that several punches were thrown before she was removed from the fight.
The girl's family says she didn't receive any physical injuries but is traumatized by what happened.
Brown had to be airlifted to the hospital for treatment, the sheriff’s office said, and was later issued a summons for misdemeanor child abuse.
Premer and Wilson both face charges for first-degree assault, second-degree assault and child abuse. They’re being held in jail on a $50,000 bond.
