Nebraska State Patrol Troopers seized 9,550 hash oil cartridges and a gun from a vehicle at an I-80 rest area.
The seizure happened on Friday, February 2 at the rest area along Interstate 80 near Brady.
According to the Nebraska State Patrol, a trooper was engaged in conversation with a man at the rest area when he became suspicious of criminal activity. The man granted consent to search his vehicle, a 2018 Nissan Rogue.
The search of the Nissan revealed four large boxes of hash oil vap pen cartridges.
Nebraska State Patrol says they found 9,550 hash oil cartridges in total (with an estimated street value of $238,000) as well as a loaded, concealed handgun.
David Poarch, 58, of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver, no drug tax stamp, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm during a felony drug violation and carrying a concealed weapon.
