A man accused of shooting someone at a Denver King Soopers now faces a charge of attempted first-degree murder.
According to a probable cause statement, Dae-mon Davis, 23, admitted to shooting a man at the Green Valley Ranch Boulevard and Tower Road grocery store after an argument on Feb. 4.
Police say he left the store after the shooting, but was found and arrested later on the 14000 block of E. Randolph Place. A homeowner in the area called police and said someone broke into his home by deception.
Davis is slated to appear in court on Friday at 8:30 a.m. He was also charged with one count of crime of violence, a sentence enhancer.
