Aurora police are searching for suspects after a man was shot outside a liquor store.

According to a release, officers responded to BK Liquors on E 6th Avenue, just east of Interstate 225, at around 9:30 Friday night on a report of a shooting.

When they got there, they found a man with a gunshot wound in the parking lot. He was taken to a hospital, where he is in critical condition as of the time of this writing Wednesday afternoon.

Investigators with the Aurora Police Department’s Major Crimes/Homicide Unit are trying to determine what led up to the shooting and to identify suspects. The victim’s name has not been released.
