One person was taken into custody after a SWAT team entered a home near downtown Littleton early Tuesday morning.

Littleton Police say the incident started with a shots fired call at around 10:30 p.m. Monday.

As of Tuesday morning, investigators were trying to determine if anyone else was inside the home in the 5600 block of South Louthan Street.

The police activity closed Littleton Boulevard from South Windermere Street to South Crocker Street.

Neighbors received an emergency notification about the incident.

It's unclear who fired the shots, or if anyone was hurt.
