Police in Colorado are hunting for a Wyoming man suspected of killing his grandmother.
The Albany County Sheriff’s Office is looking for 30-year-old Trevor Sanford.
According to Albany County Undersheriff Josh DeBree, on March 29, deputies responded to the home of 75-year-old Marilyn Kay Dlugosh in Laramie after a family member called 911.
Dlughosh was found dead in her house. The coroner determined the cause of death to be blunt force trauma, which in simple language could mean she was beaten to death.
Investigators say the victim’s vehicle was taken from the home and is missing. It’s a 2003 Ford Explorer that’s white with a black trim. It has Wyoming plates 5-21429.
Police call Sanford dangerous – and he’s believed to be somewhere in Colorado.
Investigators say not to approach him if he’s spotted and to call 911 immediately.
A number of local law enforcement agencies, including Northglenn and Thornton Police, are helping look for this man, according to Northglenn’s Facebook page.
