Deputies in Larimer County are looking for a man who escaped from a patrol car after he was arrested on Wednesday.

William Morgan, 37, was handcuffed after deputies tracked him down for an outstanding felony failure to appear drug warrant around 5 p.m.

While arresting another woman near the 700 block of 16th Street SW in Loveland, the deputy went back to the car to find that Morgan was gone.

A perimeter search and K9 track were not successful.

Morgan is described as a white male, 6 feet 2 inches and weighing 230 pounds. He's got brown hair and brown eyes and deputies say his right arm is heavily tattooed.

He was wearing blue jeans, a white short sleeve T-shirt, and white tennis shoes at the time of the arrest.

Deputies said Morgan’s hair is fuller and a couple of inches longer than in the picture, but his facial features are still the same.

Right now, the sheriff's office says there's no information to believe Morgan is a known threat to the public.

Anyone with information is asked to call their local law enforcement agency or 911.

There's also an internal investigation to figure out how exactly Morgan was able to escape.
