A Denver jury has found a man guilty of his fourth DUI since 2004.

40-year-old Matthew Allen will face a sentence ranging from probation to six years in prison when he is sentenced on January 19.

Allen was pulled over just after 2 a.m. on March 17 near Alameda Avenue and Lipan Street after police say he cut off an ambulance.

He was arrested for driving under the influence and later charged under the city’s felony DUI statue, which took effect back in August.

The bill makes it so anyone with three or more DUI's can go to prison and face heavy fines on their next one.

The case was prosecuted by Chief Deputy DA Khoury Dillon.
