An Aurora man has been sentenced to 13 years in prison for using sites like Kik and Skype to try and entice a 13-year-old into having sex with him.

Nathaniel Smith, 30, was arrested in New London, Connecticut on Jan. 25, 2016 after he traveled there to meet the victim.

He pleaded guilty to one count of enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity on Dec. 13, 2016.

In addition to the prison sentence, he was given 15 years of supervised release, according to federal prosecutors.
