Adams County deputies are seeking the public's help to identify the man accused of setting another man on fire.

Deputies responded to the Mapleton Discount Liquors at 640 E. 58th Avenue around 10 :15 p.m. on November 6. They found an adult man with significant injuries. He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Investigators say during the assault the suspect set the man on fire.

The suspect is described as a White or Hispanic man, who is between 5’8” and 6’0” with a stocky build. He was last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt with a “Cross Fit Reebok” logo.

Anyone who was in the area of East 58th Avenue and Washington Street on November 6 between 9 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. is asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867).
