The Larimer County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man who allegedly tried to kidnap a 14-year-old girl on Nov. 4.
Around 7:30 p.m., deputies responded to the area of 8th Street and Hummingbird Place in Berthoud on a reported kidnapping.
The girl said she was standing on the sidewalk waiting for a friend to pick her up when an unknown white man walked up to her from behind and grabbed her arm.
The man pulled her into the street, but she was able to break free and get away unharmed.
The man ran away on foot.
He is described as being around six feet tall with a slender build. At the time, he was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood over his head, brown dress pants and tennis shoes. The girl also said he had what appeared to be acne scars on his face.
