Pueblo Police have found the man they've identified as a person of interest in an early Tuesday morning homicide.

The victim was found dead from a gunshot wound in a home in the 900 block of Alexander Circle just after 4:20 a.m. He was found after dispatch received a call from a person believed to be suffering emotional issues.

When officers arrived and set up a perimeter, a man -- since identified as 43-year-old Lorin Predovich -- was seen running out of the basement and out the back door.

Predovich was taken into questioning minutes after the incident for having three unrelated warrants for his arrest. He now faces a first-degree murder charges for the man’s death.

It's unclear if Predovich knows the victim.
