Aurora Police say a man was shot and killed Sunday afternoon.

Officers were called to a report of an assault with a gun just after 3:30 p.m.

Police said they found a Hispanic man at 3190 Uvalda St. suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The man was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police said everyone involved has been identified and that there's no danger to the community.

The Adams County coroner's office will release the man's name after next of kin is notified.
