MOLINA, Colo. (AP) - The Mesa County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a shooting left three injured in the small community of Molina.

The Daily Sentinel of Grand Junction reports that two suspects have been arrested in connection to Wednesday's shooting at a home.

Witnesses say one of the shooting victims drove away from the scene to a house in Collbran where he asked for medical aid. Tammy Perrin, whose home he went to, says she believes the victim drove there because of her background in nursing.

Perrin says she called 911 and reported that the victim had been shot in the chest and hit in the head with a shovel.

All three victims were taken to St. Mary's Hospital on Wednesday night.

Law enforcement officials have not released information about the suspects.
