A pair of teens accused of trying to rob two people at gunpoint in Parker have been arrested and now face a slew of charges.

According to the Parker Police Department, Bryce Sheek, 18, was arrested on Sunday in connection with two attempted armed robberies. Also arrested was a 16-year-old who 9NEWS is not naming because he has not been charged as an adult.

Around 3 p.m. on Sunday, a woman called police to report two people tried to rob her at gunpoint behind a business on South Parker Road.

The suspects crashed their vehicle as they tried to leave the scene, ultimately taking off on foot. The victim said she knew one of the suspects.

Shortly after arriving at the scene on Parker Road, Parker PD received another call about an attempted robbery on the Cherry Creek Trail near Paxton Court. The victim in that incident said the suspects pointed a gun at him and asked for money.

When police arrived there, they found and arrested two people matching the description of the suspects walking along the trail about a mile away.

A BB gun -- which police say looked like a real handgun -- was found on the trail, though officers say the teens tried to hide it.

During the investigation, officers determined the vehicle the suspects were driving had been stolen, according to its owner.

Sheek was booked on charges of aggravated robbery, criminal attempt-aggravated robbery, two counts menacing, aggravated motor vehicle theft, two counts of criminal attempt-theft and conspiracy. He's being held on a $10,000 bond.

The 16-year-old was booked on charges of aggravated robbery, criminal attempt-aggravated robbery and several other charges. Because he is a minor, Parker PD can only release felony charges that are class one through four. His bond will be set in court on Tuesday.
