Three Cincinnati, Ohio, men will stand trial for four weeks this summer on allegations of killing a Fort Collins man as they attempted to rob him in August 2016.

Eighth Judicial District Judge Julie Kunce Field approved combining the trials of Joshua Baker, Michael Gresham and Lawrence Greggs into one trial that is set for 8:30 a.m. July 9 to Aug. 3.

They are each charged with first-degree murder after deliberation, felony murder, aggravated robbery, attempted burglary, tampering with physical evidence and abuse of a corpse.

The men are accused of trying to rob Devon Smeltz, who police said was a cocaine dealer, after traveling from Ohio to Colorado.
