The woman’s body found near a road in Clear Creek County in early April has been identified, Colorado Bureau of Investigation said Tuesday.

A motorist found the body near Colorado State Highway 103 on April 8. After dozens of tips were made to the CBI and the Clear Creek County Sheriff’s Office, the body was positively identified as 20-year-old Queen Ashby of Aurora.

Queen Ashby, 20, was positively identified and notification made to her family.

The investigation into Ashby’s death as a homicide is still active. Anyone with information is asked to call the CBI tip line at 303-239-4219
