The Monday afternoon hailstorm that shattered windshields and left behind leaking roofs will close one local school district while officials work to clean up the damage.

The Adams 14 School District will be closed Tuesday for repairs.

The district made the announcement on its website early Tuesday morning. They say the closure means there will be no classes, bus service, events or sports programming.

The Adams 14 School District serves more than 7,500 students at 13 schools, according to its website.

Beach Court Elementary School in Denver will also close Tuesday due to extensive damage. 

According to the 9NEWS Weather Forecast, the Front Range may see another round of severe storms at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
