How Denver eateries decide to do restaurant week

To do Denver Restaurant Week or to not do Denver Restaurant Week. THAT is the question.

In the midst of the most crowded metro Denver restaurant market in local memory, eatery owners face a difficult question:

Should they participate in Denver Restaurant Week and open their door to potentially thousands of new customers, or should they strike out on their own and try to find a different crowd?

In the 10-day event, participating eateries offer three-course menus at the prices of $25, $35 or $45 per person in an attempt to attract eager patrons. And diners flock by the hundreds of thousands to restaurants during what's typically one of the slowest times of the year.
